  About AV-Tools
The software package AV-Tools comprises a set of tools in support of linguistic research. It is an addendum to the software package Abundantia Verborum. This software is developed and maintained by the QLVL group, primarily for internal use, both in the context of research and teaching. However, the software is made available to others. The package AV-Tools can be downloaded free of charge from this site. In addition to download and installation instructions, this site also contains an online documentation of the components of AV-Tools.
  List of tools
AV-Tools currently consists of the following components :

AV Frequency List Tool: a tool for performing manipulations and calculations on word frequency lists; it is mainly used for the further analysis of frequency lists generated with Abundantia Verborum.
AV Raw File Viewer: a tool for inspecting the contents of arbirary files; it is mainly used for inspecting the structure of a file before the file is included in a corpus.
  Download and Installation
AV-Tools is deployed in a ZIP-achive, that can be downloaded by clicking on: DOWNLOAD NOW! (ZIP - 4MB)

The actual installation consists of the following steps:

unpack the archive to a temporary folder
run "setup-av-tools-YYYYMMDD.exe" in the temporary folder
after the installation the temporary folder can be deleted
