I-Hsin Liu is currently a PhD student of Linguistics at the University of Leuven. She completed her Bachelor degree at the National Tsing Hus University in Taiwan majoring Foreign Languages and Literature with a focus on English language learning in 2002. Then she worked as a practice teacher of English in a secondary school to obtain her teaching certificate. In 2004, she received her MPhil degree in Second Language Education from the University of Cambridge in England. From September 2004 to June 2005, she worked as a full-time teacher of English at a secondary school in Taiwan. In October 2005, she started her PhD study at the University of Leuven.
